Craniofacial Reconstruction

Craniofacial reconstruction is a surgical procedure to correct deformities of the face and head due to injuries, birth defects or the treatment of tumors. A complicated process often requiring the skills of both a plastic surgeon and a neurosurgeon, craniofacial reconstruction often addresses the skeletal system as well as the nerves and facial skin with dramatic results.
