Dr. Stephen P. Hardy is a graduate of Colgate University and received his M.D. from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was awarded the Allen O. Whipple award for outstanding surgical performance. He completed his residency in general surgery at The Presbyterian Hospital in the City of New York and was a Visiting Fellow in Hand Surgery at The New York Orthopedic Hospital; Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Hardy served as a Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery at the Presbyterian Hospital in the City of New York and a Fellow in Craniofacial/Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Hardy has also won numerous awards and accolades for his teaching contributions as Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison, Wisconsin, where he served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Hardy is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Association, the Montana Medical Society and the Northwest Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is the author of numerous publications and has taught and lectured around the world.

Dr. Hardy, along with the entire Northwest Plastic Surgery family, is pleased and excited to welcome his new associate, Meagan Gray-Kuchel, FNP-C.
Meagan comes to us with extensive nursing and esthetic experience and is proving to be a valuable addition to our practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Presentation College in 2008. After receiving her degree, Meagan worked as an RN in many different areas including the intensive care unit, recovery room and pediatrics. She later pursued a graduate degree and received her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2016. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Upon entering practice as a Nurse Practitioner, Meagan gained an interest in cosmetic medicine and went on to additional training in the art of injectables such as Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, and Vollure. She also has a special interest in treating conditions such as acne, various skin pigmentations, and suspicious skin lesions. Meagan has a passion for finding solutions that work for each individual patient. She will also play an integral role in our practice by taking part in the care of Dr. Hardy’s surgical patients.
