Mole Removal
Skin cancers and moles are usually removed simply by excision with a scalpel and closure leaving a small, thin scar. Large growths or spreading cancer, however, may require major surgery where flaps are used to reconstruct an affected area. Depending on the location and severity of the cancer, unsightly scars or permanent changes in facial structure may result from such procedures and require cosmetic attention. Dr. Hardy will work with you and your dermatologist to determine the best course of action in your situation.
